Storage & Abandonment Policy

Berlin Photo Studio
Effective immediately.

1. Negative Storage

Berlin Photo Studio stores developed negatives for 2 months from the date of completion.

After this period:

  • Uncollected negatives will be permanently disposed.

  • No further notice is required.

  • No compensation will be issued for disposed materials.

Customers are responsible for collecting their negatives within the stated period.

Berlin Photo Studio is not an archival storage facility.

2. Orders Not Collected

Any product or service order not collected within 3 months from the completion or notification date may be:

  • Disposed

  • Resold

  • Reintegrated into inventory

  • Donated

This applies to, but is not limited to:

  • Developed film

  • Prints

  • Physical scan deliveries (USB, DVD, etc.)

  • Cameras left for inspection or testing

  • Equipment submitted for evaluation

  • Special orders

  • Gift cards (physical)

  • Any custom production

No refunds will be issued for abandoned orders.

3. Forgotten or Lost Objects

Personal belongings or objects left inside the shop will be stored for up to 3 months.

After this period, items may be:

  • Disposed

  • Donated

  • Resold

Berlin Photo Studio assumes no responsibility for unattended items left on the premises.

4. Responsibility of the Customer

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Monitor completion notifications

  • Provide correct contact information

  • Collect orders within the stated timeframe

Failure to collect items within the defined storage period constitutes abandonment.

5. Operational Justification

This policy exists due to:

  • Limited physical storage space

  • Workflow efficiency requirements

  • Sustainability considerations

  • Large volumes of previously uncollected materials

The studio operates as a working analog laboratory, not as a long-term storage facility.

6. Agreement

By using the services of Berlin Photo Studio, customers agree to this Storage & Abandonment Policy.
